According to January-August 2007 operating results, Moscow Domodedovo International Airport maintains its leading position among Moscow airports in terms of passenger traffic, the Domodedovo press-service reports. The total volume of passenger traffic at the airport amounted to 12,243,018 people in January-August 2007, an increase of 20.2% over the same period of 2006.

Flights to Ekaterinburg, Hurghada, Antalya, London, Bangkok, Saint-Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Tivat, Krasnodar, and Mineralnye Vody saw the highest traffic growth. 2,943,702 passengers flying to these destinations were serviced at Domodedovo in January-August 2007, which is a 1.3-fold increase as compared with the first eight months of 2006.

The total volume of passenger traffic in August 2007 amounted to 2,234,036 people, up 22.9% from August 2006.
