OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2007. OJSC "Aeroflot – Russian airlines" summarized its business results of August and eight months of 2007.

During August 2007 the airline has transported 845,0 thousand of passengers (including 6,9 charter passengers), flown 2 bln. 563mln. passenger kilometers. Passenger seat occupancy per August has amounted to 79,5%, a commercial load – 61,8%.

As compared to 2006 data the amount of work per August-July has increased: on passenger transportation 102,6% (+21,7 thousand of passengers), on passenger turnover 103,0% (+73,5 mln. of passenger kilometers). The international airline passenger carriage has grown by 4,0% (+21,5 thousand of passengers), on domestic routes – 0,1% (0,2 thousand of passengers).

During eight months of 2007 Aeroflot has transported 5 mln. 465 th. of passengers. The passenger turnover has increased by 12,4% (+1827,3 mln. of passenger kilometers). Passenger seat occupancy has amounted to 71,2%, a commercial load – 55,9%.
