OREANDA-NEWS. Soyuz Victan tallied two gold medals at the 12th International exhibition of the alcoholic beverage industry ALCO+SOFT exhibition held Sept. 11-14 in Kiev, Ukraine, Soyuz Victan press service reported.

Soyuz Victan Company brought home the gold at the recent ALCO+SOFT 2007 international drinks exhibition. Awards were received by SV Premial in the Classic Vodkas category, and by SV Birch Buds in Specialty Vodkas. The Company now counts a total of 138 gold medals garnered at international competitions in Chicago, London, Brussels, Moscow and Cannes.

"ALCO+SOFT is one of the largest and recognized competition in the field of the alcoholic beverage industry in Ukraine. Therefore, to receive a gold medal at this exhibition for us it is very special," commented Sergey Blazhko, spokesman for Soyuz Victan.

According to Blazhko, the company acknowledgement by professional tasters echoes the opinion of consumers. "Sales of SV Premial during first half-year have more than doubled with the growth of 231% in the past year," commented the spokesman for Soyuz Victan.
