OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2007. Over 55% of them believe that this is an ordinary measure and that it is the mass media that are making big fuss about it. 20% said: “There is no smoke without fire! Perhaps, there is something to prepare for,” 15%: “Let them learn. After all we would have no light and heat without them.” 6% did not even know that LNPP was conducting an emergency training.
To remind, during the first day of the training the personnel of the plant responded to a radiation accident. Radiologists reported high radiation background and instructed the management of the plant to start evacuating the personnel to the suburbs of Sosnovy Bor, particularly to Volosovo – 74 km from Sosnovy Bor.
