OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2007.  A few days before the start of the heating season, a new heating main was commissioned in Ordzhonikidze Street. This facility will provide heat supply from TPP-5. The construction of the heating main started in 2006 in the framework of the investment program of OAO Novosibirskenergo. The past summer was marked with installation of 40 m of pipeline; the three summer months enabled the specialists of ZAO Novosibirskenergospetsremont, the general contractor, to complete the construction of the heating main. The budget of this investment project was about 65 mln.rubles.

Commissioning of the new heating main with the length of 113 m and the diameter of 700 mm will allow not only for stabilization of heat supply of the existing consumers of the Tsentralny and Zheleznodorozhny Districts, but also for connection of the new loads. In addition, launching of this heating main will ensure double heat supply of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (from TPP-2 as before and additionally-from TPP-5). Therefore, from now on, whatever the cold may be, the main theatre of Siberia will give a warm welcome for both the audience and the actors.
