According to the press-service of Nikopol Ferroalloy plant, the AGM of September 13, 2007, at which a quorum was registered (for the first time since a couple of years), decided to postpone itself till October 12, 2007. Questions on the agenda, including Statutory Fund increase, had not bee considered, a financial services provider Millenium Capital's information division reports.

Since 2005, no consensus has been achieved on the real owner of 50%+1 share of NFER which was privatized by Pridneprovie concern (owned by Mr. Pinchuk). Despite the rejection by the Cabinet of Ministries of further appeal of this stake before the Court since August 2007, the State Property Fund is still contesting the lawfulness of the privatization. NFER is the largest producer of silicomanganese and ferromanganese in Ukraine. It had increased production by 27.2% to 0.713 mln tons in 2007.
