Rosatom’s High Tech Medical Projects Are Finding Consumers
OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2007. The sides are ready to cooperate on innovative projects in the field of medical technologies.
The medical complex of Russian Railways consists of 254 facilities, including the N.A.Semashko Central Clinical Hospital (departments of laser surgery, roentgenology and radionuclide diagnostics) and three train hospitals (Northern, Far Eastern and Western Siberian railways).
Atom Innovation is presently consulting with representatives of Federal Medical Biological Agency, Federal Agency for High-tech Medicine, Commerce and Industry Chamber, Federation Council Committee on Science, Education, Health Care and Ecology, State Duma Committee on Science, Education, Health Care and Ecology, Health Care Department of Moscow.
The objective of the meetings is to outline the key directions of cooperation under medical programs. Particularly, the Center has agreed with the Federal Agency for Health Care and Social Development on cooperation in the framework of “Oncology” sub-program of the Federal Target Program “Preventing and Fighting Socially Significant Diseases in 2007–2011.”
The first meeting of the Program Committee is scheduled for Sept 25 2007. The Committee comprises representatives of Rosatom, Health Care and Social Development Ministry, federal medical agencies, RRW and big medical radiological institutions.
The deadline for submission of projects to Atommed 2007 is Sept 20 2007.
Atommed 2007 is to take place at the InfoSpace business center (4 Zachatievsky Lane, Moscow) on Nov 22 2007.
