OREANDA-NEWS. Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and the Armenian airline Armavia signed a contract to supply two Sukhoi Superjet 100/95 LR (long range) airplanes with an option agreement for another two aircraft. Russian VTB Bank will finance the deal.

The airplanes will be delivered to the air company late 2008. Armenia is the first among NIS states where these Russian modern high quality and comfortable airplanes will be operated. At the present time there are contracts for 73 Sukhoi Superjet 100 planes with options for 41 more.
