OREANDA-NEWS. The first deputy director of Atomenergoproject Nizhniy Novgorod Yuri Ivanov and the director of OKBM Vitaly Kostin met with an official delegation of Belarus led by Vice Premier Andrey Kobiakov. The Byelorussian delegates came to Nizhniy Novgorod to take part in the 12th International Scientific Industrial Forum “United Russia,” to visit the nuclear companies of Nizhniy Novgorod region and to consider  possibilities of cooperation.

The representatives of AEP and OKBM showed the Byelorussian guests their joint projects. The latter took special interest in the WWER-300 reactor.

The head of the Byelorussian delegation Andrey Kobiakov said: “We have seen lots of interesting projects. Many of them can be applied in our country.” He expressed conviction that it was not the last meeting between representatives of Belarus and Nizhniy Novgorod.
