OREANDA-NEWS. In the course of the meeting the specialists of Company Resource Management Department of IDGC-1, IT-directors of regional grid companies and contractors’ representatives -  “Sciener” Ltd, JSC “Corporate Service Systems”, “Fainomica” Ltd, “IT Power” Ltd – discussed the progress of the project implementation of the corporate information resources management (CIRM) in DGC of JSC “IDGC of the Center” service area.

Pavel Obukhov, the Deputy General Director for Strategy Management of IDGC-1 mentioned the improvement of information technology application in regions and said that the main target of IT block in 2007 is the implementation of CIRM program. The Order on urgent measures aimed to advance the implementation of the corporate system in distribution companies will be issued in the nearest future. The meeting participants showed interest in good professional practice of CIRM commercial operation in JSC “Tambovenergo” and the experience of changeover to pilot production in JSC “Tverenergo” and in JSC “Kostromaenergo”.

The main stage in CIRM implementation in 2007 is the importing data of reference data and data on the company business partners to the database. Such work is being held in all DGC. JSC “Voronezhenergo”, JSC “Kostromaenergo”, JSC “Tambovenergo” imported the major data. The JSC “Smolenskenergo” data were particularly noticed for quality and integrity. In the framework of the discussion the participants decided to organize groups of reference data control and to provide control (no less that 2 times per week) over data importing on business partners in all grid companies.

Besides, during the meeting the participants examined the state of affairs on execution of order # 77 as of 11.05.2007 of JSC “IDGC of the Center” “On Priority Task on Implementation the Maintenance Systems, Power energy metering on the SAP R3 Basis”, as well as, the IT-directors of the companies gave a detailed description on the progress of the CIRM project implementation in all DGC. In general, the projects are implemented according to the fixed dates, no serious remarks were made.

The next regular meeting of Coordination Council on CIRM projects will be held on October 3-6, 2007 in Sochi in the form of “Implementation of System Automation Project: Results and Perspectives” open production conference.
