OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ took the first place in Ukraine according to truck sales.

In the first quarter 2007 KAMAZ lagged behind its main competitor in the local market – RUP “MAZ” considerably. But for 7 months KAMAZ took the first place having sold 1237 automobiles. Such figures are given by the company “Autoconsulting” (Kiev) according to the data of new vehicles registration.

KAMAZ is the leader according to the total quantity of sold vehicles as well. KAMAZ became the leading brand not only in the category from 8 tonnes and more, but also in the category from 3,5 tonnes. So, the company left behind its main competitor in the 3,5-8 tonnes sector – GAS.
