OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2007. A representative delegation of specialists of Turkmen oil and gas complex headed by S.A.Dzhumayev, Chairman of Turkmengeologiya, a state corporation, made a fact-finding trip to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District in accordance with the resolution of the Second Session of the Intergovernmental Russia-Turkmenistan Commission and on an invitation by ITERA International Group of Companies.

Turkmen geologists, gas-industry workers and oil-industry workers visited gas fields, developed in partnership with ITERA Oil and Gas Company. They visited industrial facilities at Gubkinsky and Beregovoy gas fields, familiarized themselves with presentations by ZAO Purgaz and OAO Sibneftegaz, as well as with the personnel working conditions, and visited rotational-residential village of Sibneftegaz and other social and cultural facilities.

Members of the delegation visited ITERA headquarters in Moscow. Gennady Skidanov, First Deputy-Chairman of ITERA Oil and Gas, LLC Management Board, made a company presentation and answered questions related to production and social activity of the International Group of Companies, prospects for ITERA cooperation with enterprises of oil and gas industry and other areas of the economy of Turkmenistan. S.A.Dzhumayev, head of the delegation, called the visit to the fields useful and noted the high-level of their development and operation.

Leaders and senior staff of the larger enterprises, specialized Institutions of Higher Education and research institutions of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan were members of the delegation.
