OREANDA-NEWS. On September 06, 2007 Home Credit, one of the key consumer finance players in CEE and Central Asia, announced that Milan Tomanek (50) has been appointed as Group Communications Manager of Home Credit Group with immediate effect, reported the press-centre of Home Credit.

Tomanek's task is to create an effective structure of external and internal communications and to coordinate it across the Group. He will provide support to local communications specialists and teams at places where Home Credit makes business and facilitate implementation of best practices in order to meet profession?s benchmarks. Crisis communications and issue management across countries will belong to his direct responsibilities.

Most of his professional career Milan Tomanek spent in communications. He leverages experience from both sides of the profession: from media, as he worked for then Czechoslovak Television and from corporate business as well. Almost 15 last years he assigned to financial services communications. He worked for the local market regulator, Czech National Bank, and managed corporate communications at CSOB, a Czech leading retail bankinsurer. Communications of the largest acquisition and operational restructuring within banking sector of the Czech Republic stand out of major professional assignments, Milan Tomanek managed. He has also proved outstanding expertise in crisis communications.
