OREANDA-NEWS. On September 03, 2007 Andrius Karazinas, who filled the position of director on a temporary basis, has been replaced by Tomas Pujanauskas, who comes from a leadership position at a leasing company, reported the press-centre of SAMPO banko lizingas.

Mr Pujanauskas (born in 1980) has been working in the financial sector for more than five years. Before that, he worked in sales in the IT field. Mr Pujanauskas was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in management and business administration from the International School of Management (ISM) in 2004 and, presently he is working on his Master’s Degree at ISM.

Mr Karazinas, who has temporarily served as "SAMPO banko lizingas" director since 15 May, will continue to head the "SAMPO banko lizingas" Business Development Department. Mr Karazinas has been working at SAMPO bankas since June 2003.

Dalia Uzdoviniene, who has just returned from maternity leave, will continue to serve as the deputy director of UAB "SAMPO banko lizingas" and will head the "SAMPO bankas lizingas" Sales Department.

UAB "SAMPO bankas lizingas" is the fourth largest leasing company in Lithuania, with 5.7% of the market. Its authorised capital amounts to 4 million LTL and the company’s entire share package belongs to SAMPO bankas. UAB "SAMPO bankas lizingas" was established on 4 May 2001.

AB SAMPO bankas belongs to Danske Bank (Denmark), one of the largest Scandinavian and Western Europe financial service groups. Danske Bank acquired SAMPO banks in Finland and the Baltic countries in October 2006, and the acquisition transaction was finally completed in February 2007. Since July of this year, the entire share package of AB SAMPO bankas has belonged directly to Danske Bank group.
