OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2007. The unit value of DnB NORD Equity Fund of Funds established on 1 September 2006 increased by 16,6 percent during its first year of operations, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD.

UAB DnB NORD Investiciju Valdymas invests the funds to the foreign funds operating profitably in various world regions. 

“When recommending investment in the equity fund of funds we suggested that a yearly return of 10-12 percent is expected in a long-term perspective. The first year of operations of the fund went beyond our expectations. We are very pleased that the chosen investment strategy proves to be successful and we fulfil our obligations to the Lithuanian investors looking for higher return investment opportunities”, commented the performance results of the fund Loreta Zebrauskiene, Deputy Managing Director of UAB DnB NORD Investiciju Valdymas.

Some 500 investors have bought the units of DnB NORD Equity Fund of Funds during the first year of operations. Due to the worldwide investment diversification, DnB NORD equity fund of funds may be considered as the lowest investment risk group among the funds investing in equity markets. In early September LTL 6.6 million were invested into the fund which targets a very wide range of investors.
