OREANDA-NEWS. September 6, 2007. In the framework of the fist part of the investment program development realized by National Container Company in the Ilyichevsk container terminal (the Ilyichevsk port, the Ukraine) 2 new container cranes of Postpanamax class produced by Noell Fantuzzi Group will be delivered to the terminal.

It is expected that with the help of the new cranes the terminal will provide the handling increase up to 850 thousand TEU per year and serve liners of 6 thousand TEU capacity.

Now the terminal handles about 38 thousand TEU per month. In August its cargo turnover amounted to 38 396 TEU. By the preliminary estimate, by the end of the current year the terminal will have handled about 440 thousand TEU.
