Prigorodnoe terminal, from which liquefied natural gas and oil produced in the framework of the Sahkalin-2 project will be shipped, will be managed by the joint venture of the project operator Sakhalin Energy and Sovkomflot. The establishment of the joint venture has entered the final stage, regional news services quote executive director of Sakhalin Energy Ian Craig.

This step is a confirmation that Sovkomflot is extending its presence in the logistic projects connected with the energy resources transportation, noted the managing director of Yunicom, member of the board of Sovkomflot Sergey Popravko. Sovkomflot's main objective is meeting the requirements of charterers – Russian or foreign oil and gas companies.

And this experience will be needed during the development of the Baltic and Shtocman LPG-projects.
