OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2007. Sept 5–12 2007 a group of experts of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Control of Russia (Rostekhnadzor) will conduct a target inspection at Volgodonsk NPP, reported the press-centre of Volgodonsk NPP.

The group will be led by the head of the Radiation Safety Control Department of Rostekhandzor Oleg Lapshev and will consist of inspectors of Rostekhnadzor’s Central, Don and Volga offices.
The objective of the inspection is to see if Volgodonsk NPP complies with the safety standards.

Special attention will be given to nuclear and radiation safety, personnel training, quality of maintenance and operation, efficiency of safety and metrological systems and other equipment, emergency preparedness, etc..
