OREANDA-NEWS. September 4, 2007. Starting from 1st September 2007 OJSC North-West Telecom has been offering new package offers including intraareal telephone communication services ( telephone connections within the region) and dial-up Internet access services to residents of the four serviced regions – subscribers of the Vologda, Novgorod, Pskov and Leningrad Oblast branches.

The rates for the services provided in these packages have been reduced as compared to the effective rates by 10-20%. If a package offer is used, the reduced rate covers the entire scope of actual connection s (both intraareal telephone and Internet connection s), including those in excess of the established limit at a fixed time of the day (night). I. e. if a package offer is chosen, a subscriber will pay a fixed fee for a certain volume of services per month and in case of exceeding the limit the services will be paid for at reduced rates, too.  

In order to take into account the interests of a large number of communication services users, OJSC N.W. Telecom has developed and is offering its subscribers in Vologda, Novgorod, Pskov and Leningrad Oblasts   4 packages of services for individuals and legal entities, two of which ( "+" packages) include, besides telephone connection s within a region, also dial-up access services.

Packages of services for individuals include a 150 or 250 minutes' monthly volume of telephone connection s within a region at a fixed time of the day (night) (from 6 p.m. till 8 a.m. on weekdays, and round the clock on weekends and holidays). If "+" packages are chosen, the monthly volume of dial-up Internet connection s is 400 or 500 minutes (at any time of the day (night)). The monthly fixed fee, depending on the set of services, will amount to 225 to 515 roubles (including VAT).

Packages of services for corporate subscribers include a 350 or 500 minutes' volume of intraareal telephone connection s at a fixed time of the day (night) (from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m.) and may include 900 or 1250 minutes' volume Internet dial-up connection s per month. The monthly fixed fee, depending on the set of services, will amount to 700 to 1300 roubles (without VAT).  

Where package offers are used, the local telephone communication services will be paid for at the current rates. Long-distance and international connection s, as well as calls to mobile communication operators' numbers will be paid for separately.

In order to use a communication services package, a subscriber must apply to the Clients Servicing Centre of OJSC N.W.Telecom and make an additional agreement to the current agreement of communication services.    The package offer takes effect from the 1st day of the month following the month of making the additional agreement.

Popov – Deputy General Manager – Commercial Manager, of OJSC N.W.Telecom : "Intraareal communication is one of the traditional telephone communication services that have a stable demand and a guaranteed circle of users. It is in order to stimulate the interest of the permanent users of this service and to make it more attractive for a wider circle of subscribers that we are developing the package offers. They will enable clients to save their expenses for communication or to increase the amount of consumed services without increasing the usual amount of expenses."
