OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2007. The Agrarian Fund of Ukraine has already contracted 117,000 tons of grain and has paid for 85,000 tons, Agrarian Policy Minister Yuriy Melnyk said, reported the Official website http://www.kmu.gov.ua.

As he added, on September 1, the Fund will buy at least 100,000 tons, while in 2006 this date the fund just started the purchases.

According to a governmental resolution the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine has been instructed to purchase 710,000 tons of food grain of 2007 crop for forming the state food reserve.
