OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2007. During seven months of 2007 Ukraine imported 6,456 million tons of Russian oil to the general tune of 2,684 bn. USD, the Govt sources reported, reported the Official website http://www.kmu.gov.ua.

In July 2007 Ukraine bought 1.044 million tons of oil from Russia to the tune of 510,792 million USD.

During seven months of 2007 some 1,500 tons of gas condensate was imported from Russia to the tune of 747,990 USD.

Russian oil accounts for 80% of all petroleum, which is processed by Ukrainian refineries.

Ukraine annually consumes some 16 million tons of oil products, including five million tons of gasoline and diesel fuel and 6 million tons of mazout.
