OREANDA-NEWS. On September 03, 2007 Kazakhstan Bank of Development JSC (Astana), whose securities are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) official "A" listing category had provided KASE with the press release of the following content, reported the press-centre of KASE:

By the decision of the only Shareholder of FSD Kazyna, Janat Jakanov has been assigned the president of Kazakhstan Bank of Development JSC.

Mr. Jakanov is the alumnus of Moscow energy institute and of the World's Bank's Institute of economical development (Washington city, U.S.A.). He has an extensive experience of management work of government services in the banking sector, and national companies.

The current head has been working in the KBD since its creation in 2001. Over the past period, he has worked as Director of projecting analysis department, Executive director, Vice-president of the Bank. Since May 2007, he has been acting President of the Bank.

The changes in the staff of the Board of directors of the Bank have not been made. The Chairman of the Board of directors of Kazakhstan Bank of Development JSC is Askar Sembin.
