Leningrad NPP Fulfilled 109,6% of its Electricity Production Plan
OREANDA-NEWS. On August 27, 2007 the plant has produced 111mln KWh more than planned for the month, reported the press-centre of Leningrad NPP.
Since the beginning of this year the plant has produced 81mln KWh less than planned for the period — 99,5% of the plan.
Such statistics were reported during a regular operational meeting at Leningrad NPP.
The deputy director of Leningrad NPP Valery Lebedev said that, as of today, Aug 27, Rosenergoatom’s NPPs are operating 23 units and 36 turbines generators with a total capacity of 15,7 GW against planned 15,3 GW. Since the beginning of this year the plants have generated a total of 101,3bln KWh.
No single incident was registered at the plants last week, with 33 incidents recorded since the beginning of this year (against 31 ones a year before): 1 accident (1 accident in 2006), no fires (1 fire in 2006). “In Jan-Aug 2007 the plants operated safely and efficiently but for some minor problems concerning non-planned repairs and failures of power transmission lines.”
“This week we are planning to continue repairing the 2nd and 3rd units and preparing for the Sept 19–21 complex emergency training.”
