Kazkommertsbank Borrowed the Syndicate Credit for $600 m
OREANDA-NEWS. On September 02, 2007 Kazkommertsbank JSC (Almaty) that is a listing company on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), had provided KASE with a press release of following content, reported the press-centre of KASE:
Kazkommertsbank (KKB) is please to inform that yesterday, it signed a new syndicated loan to finance trading contracts of KKB's clients for the sum of $600 m. The next Initial Organizers organized the deal:
- Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd.
- Citibank, N.A.
- Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd.
The deal was launched on July 20 of 2007 with the initial sum of $400 m. The specified transaction was received very positively by market; that is why the sum of offerings significantly exceeded $600 m. As a result, on August 28, Kazkommertsbank and a syndicate of 31 banks signed an agreement for the sum of $600 m.
"The specified deal justified our boldest expectations and we are obliged to all the participants of the syndicate for the provided support and partnership. I would like to mark the work of loan's organizers whose professionalism and experience helped to successfully accomplish the deal", - the executive director of KKB, Mr. Timchenko informed.
