JSC “Belgorodenergo” Commissioned Two 110 kV HVL
OREANDA-NEWS. On August 29, 2007 JSC “Belgorodenergo” commissioned two 110 kV lines “Funzenskaya-Western Chain #1” and “Frunzenskaya-Southern Chain #1”. The expansion of newly constructed double chained section of HVL is 20,9 km, reported the press-centre of JSC “IDGC of the Center”.
The commissioning of the two new power lines increased the power supply reliability of Belgorod consumers.
The specialists from JSC “Volgogradenergosetproekt” made the HVL project. JSC “Mekhkolona #77” is the general contractor. The investment project cost amounts to 110 mln. roubles.
The builders installed 171 poles – 121 reinforced and 50 metal ones – and installed 150 km of wire during the construction work. The modern materials, including polymeric insulation which provides more reliable operation and life quality of HVL, were applied during conductors installation mounting.
The power engineers received permission to commission the conductors from the Administration for Environmental and Engineering Supervision of Rostekhnadzor in Belgorod region on August 27. The HVL tap was made to the already existing 110 kV “Southern-Western” line on August 28. At 5 p.m. of the same day, the 110 kV “Frunzenskaya-Western” line was powered, and “Frunzenskaya-Southern Chain #1”was powered at 10 p.m. All activities on commissioning lines were finished on August 29 at 1:57.
