OREANDA-NEWS. On August 27, 2007 AS DnB NORD Banka has commenced distribution of AB DnB NORD Bankas (Lithuania) capital-indexed bonds issue No. 20-LV. Distribution period will last by 27 September (inclusive), reported the press-centre of AS DnB NORD Banka.
Capital-indexed bond is a security at whose maturity to the investor is guaranteed repayment of invested funds and additional value that depends on the growth of capital index values. DnB NORD Banka is the only bank in Latvia that publicly offers this type of bonds.
Maturity of currently distributable EUR bonds is three years and the prospective increase in value depends on the growth of average capital index basket value (Hang Seng (China), S&P 500 (USA), NIKKEI 225 (Japan), and DJ EURO STOXX 50 (Europe)). To the investor at maturity is guaranteed at least 5 per cent increase in their investment value regardless of capital index changes.
AS DnB NORD Banka has successfully performed already four issues of index-pegged bonds; bonds of the precedent issue were pegged to European capital index DJ EURO STOXX 50 and successfully distributed by 25 July 2007.
To stock market-indexed bonds you can subscribe at any branch of DnB NORD Banka throughout Latvia.
