Gazprom Takes into Operation Booster Station at Myldzhinskoye Field
OREANDA-NEWS. On August 28, 2007 Tomsk Oblast has hosted a solemn ceremony dedicated to the commissioning of booster station at the Myldzhinskoye gas condensate field, reported the press-centre of Gazprom.
Present at the ceremony were Gazprom delegation chaired by Mikhail Sereda, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Viktor Kress, Governor of the Tomsk Oblast, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the Tomsk Oblast and heads of Vostokgazprom.
“Today Gazprom made an important step towards further increase of gas supply reliability for Russian consumers. The modern booster station commissioning at the Myldzhinskoye gas condensate field will give all citizens and industrial consumers more confidence in natural gas supply in a long-term perspective. It is a prime example of the Company’s system work for the gas sector development in Russia’s East,” said Mikhail Sereda.

The Myldzhinskoye gas condensate field is located in the Kargasoksky area of the Tomsk Oblast and operates since 1999. The license for the field development is owned by Tomskgazprom (a wholly owned subsidiary of Gazprom).
The booster station commissioning will enable to maintain gas production at 3 bcm of gas per annum and increase gas supply reliability for consumers of the Tomsk, Kemerovo, Omsk, Novosibirsk Oblasts and Altai Krai.
Vostokgazprom (Gazprom subsidiary where Gazprom holds a 99,98 per cent stake) produces natural gas and gas condensate from the Myldzhinskoye gas condensate field and Severo-Vasyuganskoye gas condensate field. Additionally, Vostokgazprom owns hydrocarbon processing and marketing enterprises turning out a wide range of products.
