Belarusian Potash Company Agrees New Price Terms
OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2007. Belarusian Potash Company ("BPC"), the principal overseas supplier of potash fertilizers manufactured by RUE PA Belaruskali (Soligorsk, Belarus) and JSC Uralkali (Berezniki, Russia) has agreed new price terms for its supply contracts.
In August 2007 BPC announced a $30 price increase to $330 per ton for distribution into the South-East Asian markets, effective from 1 October 2007. The same level of increase was announced for Brazil with the rate of $305-$315 per ton to take effect on 1 October 2007. Supply contracts with the new price terms were signed in August and are expected to be in force ahead of schedule by the end of September.

"The agreements underscore our significant competitive advantages and ability to deliver value to our clients and shareholders."
