EBRD to Purchase Shares of Ukrainian Dairy Producer
OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2007. The "Shostka Milk Plant" will have a new shareholder the European Bank for Remonstration and Development, reported the Official website http://www.kmu.gov.ua.
The EBRD negotiates with the French Bel, owning 97,5% of the Ukrainian dairy producer about acquisition of the shares. The issue will be resolved on September 18.
According to Director of the "Shostka Milk Plant" Larysa Rudakova, the EBRD representatives have already toured the pant's facilities.
According to Director of the "AAA" consulting company Serhiy Nalyvko, the RBRD as a foreign investor will ease excess to the market of cheap credit resources.
The plant's net income in 2006 totalled 12,885,000 UAH.
The Bel Group runs 22 cheese producing plants, 17 of which are located outside France.
