OREANDA-NEWS. On August 22, 2007 JSC Kazakhtelecom in cooperation with “Open Technologies” company, Russian system integrator, and S.A. Lebedev institute of fine mechanics and computer science of the Russian Academy of Science announced the completion of the first and the launch of the second stage of the corporate portal creation, reported the press-centre of JSC Kazakhtelecom.

Today the corporate portal operates in two divisions of Kazakhtelecom: in central administration and “Almatytelecom” Local Centre for Telecommunications; and includes 52 information services: information on the company, list of all types of services and tariffs, methods of payment (prepaid and Tarlan cards, telebanking, etc.), subscriber’s reference book, answers to frequently asked questions, etc. The data is updated on-line.

Due to due to implementation of the transaction service, clients which are registered on the portal are provided with opportunity to pay invoices for Kazakhtelecom’s services by using bank cards, review information on debts, accepted payments, personal account, order delivery of an invoice via e-mail, subscribe for news and notifications, and many others.

The portal provides possibility to integrate with different information systems, starting from simple transmission of information and ending by active interaction with other systems. Moreover, the portal provides prompt access to information, cooperation of Kazakhtelecom’s services with partners, improves control over the company’s web-resources.

In future the flexible structure of the portal will enable to distribute the solution to other branches of JSC Kazakhtelecom. The portal is represented in three languages; Kazakh, Russian and English.

At the present moment works on the second stage of the project are carried out where all branches of JSC Kazakhtelecom are being connected, new additional interactive services are being connected and developed for subscribers. Moreover, it is planned to launch internal corporate portal and “Private rooms” for the company’s employees. The further development of the project contemplates the complete transfer of all web-resources of the company to a single platform of the corporate portal.
