The Best Innovators of Sverdlovsk Region Are Awarded in TGC-9
OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2007. The results of the innovative engineering contest among OJSC TGC-9 branches on the territory of Sverdlovsk region are summed up.
The contest was held by Territorial Generating Company #9 together with the Presidium of Sverdlovsk Regional Committee of the All-Russian Association of Inventors and Innovators. On the basis of the results of the year 2006 there were selected the best creative works and best innovative proposals in TGC-9 branches situated in Sverdlovsk region. There were also determined the holders of the title “the Best Innovator” and “the Best Young Innovator”. The team of Sverdlovsk CHPP is recognized as the winner among the inventors of TGC-9 branches who participated in the contest. The second and the third prize places were given to the innovators of Pervouralsk CHPP and Bogoslovsk CHPP. Byrkov N. the Head of the ACS shop of Sverdlovsk CHPP and Rylov Y. the Deputy Head of the boiler-and-turbine shop of Novo-Sverdlovsk CHPP were recognized as the best innovators of OJSC TGC-9 in Sverdlovsk region in 2006; Ivanova T. the electrician of the electric shop of Pervouralsk CHPP and Koyshov M. the foreman of Kransnogorsk CHPP were given the title “the Best young innovator”.
On the basis of the contest results the method of pollution measurement of the heating surface of the middle pressure boilers, proposed by Kuznezova M. the head of the chemical treatment shop of Sverdlovsk CHPP and Anaskina N. the process-engineer of the electric power plant was recognized as the best one. The innovative technology is based upon the algorithm of measuring accumulation rate of sediments on the inside boiler heating surface. In the electric power station there was implemented the special program that makes it possible to forecast the necessity of chemical clearing of the heating surface and even calculate the time for repair works without any special selection of test samples. Moreover, due to the new technology implementation it is possible to reduce fuel consumption owing to the increased heat release of the heating surface. Currently they are trying to obtain the patent for the invention of the specialists of the chemical treatment shop of Sverdlovsk CHPP; in the future the proposed method of pollution measurement of the boiler heating surface can be applied to at other power stations.
The implementation of the best innovative proposals and encouragement of the most active inventors have already become traditional in TGC-9 and are being carried on in 2007.
