OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2007. For the first time in the history of TNK-BP’s professional skills competitions, an interregional stage, which, in fact, will be also be the final stage of the competition, will take place, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

It will be held between August 9 and September 1 at training and operational sites in Nizhnevartovsk, Orenburg, Buzuluk, Ryazan and Moscow. In addition to the representatives of professions that have traditionally participated in the competition program, specialists in some other disciplines, such as accountants, will take part in the final stage of the competition. Representatives of a total of more than 40 professions and specializations will be competing.

It is already known what awards await the participants in the final stage. The winner in each nomination is entitled to a prize in the amount of RR 45 K, a trip to the final stage of the Corporate Olympics in Sochi, and “TNK-BP’s Best in Profession” certificate and badge. The youngest and the most experienced (to be determined based on length of service) competition participants in the “Generation Relay” nomination will receive a prize in the amount of RR 15 K.
The winners of local and regional professional skills competitions, which took place this summer at the company’s enterprises, will take part in the final stage. “I believe that the final stage will contribute to the improvement of the participants’ qualifications and skills, will make it possible to bring in new specialists into the competition, and will increase the growing prestige of working professions,” remarked Mr. Boris Hramovskih, Labor Relations and Regions Director, JSC “TNK-BP Management.”
