OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2007. Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port has put into operation a specialized Car terminal. This terminal will be operated by Vladivostok Car Terminal Company, which will provide handling, storage and forwarding services, and possibly will act as a customs broker.

During the start-up period the car terminal will handle up to 7 th. cars and special vehicles, and in 2008 this volume will be increased for up to 10 th. pcs.

At the moment Vladivostok car terminal serves ro-ro vessels at the specialized fourth berth.

Since September 2007 the terminal will have 3 warehouses for vehicles storage, including a 0-level parking lot with the capacity of 1000 vehicles. By the end of October 700 m long railway lines to the third and the fourth berths will be put into operation.
