OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2007. Traveling to European and Asian countries in trains of OAO RZD becomes very popular.

According to the OAO RZD’s Department of Corporate Communications, in 7 months of 2007 the company transported 460.7 thousand passengers (+19% year-on-year).

Trains bound for Finland are most popular. Thus, more than 227.8 thousand people were transported to this country (+24% or 43.3 thousand people year-on-year).

More than 58.7 thousand people were transported to Poland (+20% year-on-year).

More than 46.9 thousand passengers were transported to Germany (+9% year-on-year).

The passenger traffic to Czech Republic amounted to 39.2 thousand passengers (+50% or 13.1 thousand people year-on-year).
