OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2007. ROSNO’s South-Volga Directorate has reimbursed the damage inflicted to a grain dryer due to fire in accordance with the property insurance contract.

The ignition of raw materials caused fire at the grain dryer belonging to OJSC Yekaterinovsky Elevator. The grain dryer installations had been insured in ROSNO against the following risks: fire, lightning stroke, and aircraft impact. The fire damaged the dryer’s boxes and partitions and deformed the shaft structure.

OJSC Yekaterinovsky Elevator ranks among the largest enterprises of the Saratov Region. It specializes in storage of cereals and oil-bearing crops. The company is a part of Nizhegorodsky Maslozhirovoj Kombinat.

ROSNO has paid OJSC Yekaterinovsky Elevator an insurance compensation of 1,272,780 roubles. The contractual insurance premium was just 7,680 roubles.
