OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2007. OJSC "OGK-6" net income under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) increased to 1,518 bln rubles in the first six months of the year 2007. In the same period of the year 2006 the Company reported net income of 634 mln 828 thous rubles.

Net income for the second quarter of 2007 increased to 804,11 mln rubles compared to 713,951 mln rubles for the first quarter of 2007. Net income quarter-to-quarter growth in particular is due to Company’s restructured fines been written off by taxation authorities.

OGK-6 reminds that its net income for 2006 under RAS more than tripled compared with net income for 2005 – to 1,241 bln rubles.
