OREANDA-NEWS. “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC celebrated a 40th anniversary to its first-made products. As of the morning, the Company hosted a field session for the Board of “Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding” JSC presided by Premier R. Minnikhanov, which reviewed technical policy issues of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC and setting-up production of maleic anhydride and 1,4-butanediol.

Then, the Holding Board members together with TR President M. Shaymiyev attended a topping-out ceremony of the NKNK captive power-supplier - cogeneration gas-turbine unit GTU-75.

In the afternoon, celebrations continued at a petrochemical sports and cultural complex “Ice Palace” hosting a grandiose performance of Russian and Tartar show stars. General Director of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC V. Busygin and TR President M. Shaymiyev addressed all those present. “In point of fact, you are themselves writing history: by the results of your constructive labour, - voiced M. Shaymiyev. - What you’ve done over the past years makes one admire! Having thanked on his behalf, on behalf of the State Council and the TR Government the veterans and the actual petrochemical personnel for their self-sacrificing work, he presented a Letter of Gratitude from the TR President. Then, some individual petrochemical employees were presented with the President’s Letters of Gratitude, badges “TR Honoured Chemical Worker”, “TR Honoured Economist” and TR medals “For Valorous Labour”. The medals were awarded, among others, to V. Busygin – general director of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC, Z. Davletgarayev - control instrumentation technician, V. Belokurov - director of Styrene & Polyether Resin Plant, T. Katkova, A. Salamakhina - operators.

V. Busygin said many warm words about the first legendary builders of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC and the Town, the Company veterans and those, who nowadays keep on with the cause of their forefathers. “The Company personnel make a real family based on unity, mutual trust and respect. Only such relations can constitute a reliable basis for a sustainable activity of the Company” – stated he.

A. Reus, RF Deputy Minister for Industry & Energy, read the address from RF Premier M. Fradkov and conferred awards on some NKNK employees, including badges “Honorary Petrochemical Worker” to R. Bilalov - operator at Ethylene Oxide Plant, Z. Shagitova - senior analyst at R&T Centre, R. Usachev - operator at Synthetic Rubber Plant.
Representatives of the RF and TR Ministries, of overseas and domestic companies - NKNK partners, attended the anniversary event along with the executives of the TR Government Bodies.
