August 16, 2007.  January, 25th, 2007 in New Delhi, India a Protocol was signed between the governments of India and Russia proclaiming the year 2008 as "The Year of Russia in India" and the year 2009 - “The Year of India in Russia”. According to the Protocol, during these two years there will be held exhibitions, fairs, symposiums, conferences, spacebridges, presentations, delegations exchanges and other events in the commercial, scientific and technical, humanitarian sciences as well as many others.

At present moment the CHETRA SPC company together with the Ministry of the Industry and Power of Chuvash Republic has joined the process of elaborating event programs for 2008-2009 with the help of non-profit partnership "Business Council of Cooperation with India".

This cooperation enables us to cover wider business circles in India and provide better recognition of CHETRA brand in the Indian market.

The products of the Concern Tractor Plants have been presented in India since 1999. Nowadays, there exists a network of Indian partners (SUMERU, STORK INDIA, SETLITE INDIA, MONNET INT companies) whose activity enables us to collaborate with such large Indian companies as NLC, CIL, BEML.

In November 2007 CHETRA SPC company together with its agent, SETLITE company, is to take part in the EXCON 2007 exhibition (Bangalore) where there will be displayed undercarriage components for crawler machines (the produce of CHAZ factory) that are of great demand in Indian market.
