OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2007. The meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, First Deputy Prime-Minister of Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Muratov, was attended by the members of the board of Directors - Marat Safiullin, Minister of Economy of Republic Tatarstan, Radik Gaizatullin, Minister of Finances of Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Tuktarov, Deputy Minister of Economy, Ilshat Fardiev, General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" and others.

The agenda included the issues of distribution of obligations of Board of Directors members, establishing the permanent committees of the Board of Directors of JSC "Tatenergo", implementing of budget for the first six months of 2007. Management of the company informed the Board of Directors members about results of financial and business activity of JSC "Tatenergo" for the first six months of 2007.

At the meeting were presented information on production figures for heat and electricity for 2008. Taking into account that economically studied tariffs are today the major factor in providing the reliability of the power system and competitiveness on the electricity market. The Board of Directors decided to found the new committee for tariff formation and investment policy. It included representatives of JSC "Tatenergo", Ministry of Economy, big industrial companies and municipal formation of Republic.
