OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2007. Oleg Bogomolov, Governor of the Kurgan region, and Vasil Kayumov, CEO of KAMAZ Inc., signed a cooperation agreement during “The Days of KAMAZ Inc. in the Trans-Ural Region”.

According to the signed document the service infrastructure of the Kurgan region will develop, the volume and range of KAMAZ products delivered to the region will extend, the cargo and passenger fleet will be renewed and motor transport experts will be trained. Besides, the parties plan to develop and conduct joint measures to stop the counterfeit production turnover on the territory of the Kurgan region.

The company starts building its trade-service center in the capital of the region. It will be the first dealer center of such a high equipping level in the Ural federal district. The complex will render all kinds of services in the region where over 5 thousand KAMAZ vehicles are exploited.
