OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2007. During the 7 months 2007 the container turnover in Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port increased by 56.7% over the last year’s similar period and totaled 62 776 TEU.

Export container turnover increased by 46.7% up to 31 127 TEU in January-July. Import container turnover increased by 67,9% and totaled 31 640 TEU.

Export of loaded containers decreased by 1.4% to 12 309 TEU, while export of empty ones increased by 2.2 times.

In January-July import of loaded containers totaled 31 242 TEU (+73.9%), and import of empty containers – 398 TEU (-54.6%).
