OREANDA-NEWS. On August 13, 2007 German grain trader Toepfer International has signed an agreement with Ukraine's biggest bread making enterprises on supply of grain during 2008 at stable market prices. The parties hope that the memorandum on cooperation will help to stabilize the situation on Ukraine's grain and bread market, reported the Official website http://www.kmu.gov.ua.

During the next marketing year the German grain trader will supply up to 100,000 tons of food grain to Ukrainian bakeries at optimal price. Bread will be bought on the internal market.

This is the first agreement of an international grain trader with Ukrainian companies and it will allow domestic bakers to function uninterruptedly and efficiently without raising prices for their products.
