OREANDA-NEWS. The capital of Ukrainian banks in January-July 2007 grew by 24,1% or by 10,3 bn, reported the Official website http://www.kmu.gov.ua.

UAH and as of August 1, 2007 reached 52,8 bn. UAH (1 USD=5,05 UAH), the NBU press service reported.

The growth of the banks' capital occurred at the expense of increasing the statutory fund of the banks by 2 bn. UAH or by 42,3% and due to re-estimation of basic funds, non-material assets, securities and investments in associated companies by 1,1 bn. UAH or by 19,3%.
