OREANDA-NEWS. On August 14, 2007 Kazkomertsbank JSC (Almaty), shares and bonds of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list, provided KASE with the press-release of next contention, reported the press-centre of KASE:

RBK-Rating had published ratings of leading mortgage banks of Moscow, St.Petersburg and Russia by results of first half-year of year 2007. Moskommertsbank takes the first line in rating of banks by volume of provided mortgage credits in Moscow and Moscow region. Volume of credits given by bank in capital and region made 12,8 bn. rubles.

In the similar rating by St.Petersburg and Leningrad region Moskomemrtsbank takes the second line, portfolio of mortgage credits of St.Petersburg subsidiary of bank by results of first half-year of year 2007 made 1,9 bn. rubles.

In whole-Russian rating of most mortgage banks Moskommertsbank had confidently occupied the third place (by results of first half-year volume of provided mortgage credits made almost 15 bn. rubles), yielding only to two state banks. Credit portfolio of Moskommertsbank as of July 1, 2007 exceeded 29 bn. rubles.

Albert Hisametdinov, First Deputy chairman of board of Moskommertsbank had noted: "by results of first half-year we gathered on mortgage market the medals of all values. The Golden one we received in Moscow, silver in St.Petersburg and bronze all over Russia. Bank is actively coming with mortgage to largest regions of Russia, so we do not plan to stop with achieved results".

Thus, at the half-year rate of year 2007 Moskommetsbank had confirmed its positions of leader of mortgage market of Russia among non-state banks.
