OREANDA-NEWS. During trip to Brest oblast Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky has got familiar with new production facilities at Berezatara and Frandesa Companies located in the region, reported the Official website http://www.government.by.

On September 1 this year Berezatara plans to put in operation a tin varnishing and lithographic facility. To date, the first vanishing line has been mounted. Assembling of German printing equipment is nearing completion. When the new facility is put in operation the company will not need paper labels any more. The new equipment costs about ?5 million. Its capacity is 10 million of sheet passes a year.

Frandesa has been implementing an investment project on setting up domestic production of chemical plant protecting agents. The company was opened not long ago in the town of Bereza. This year it will launch production of two herbicides. In the next two years it is set to launch production of five pesticides, including anti-fungal agents and insecticides developed by the National Academy of Sciences.
