OREANDA-NEWS. On August 09, 2007 Supervisory Council of JSC VTB Bank held its meeting, reported the press-centre of VTB.

The Supervisory Council members have resolved to convene an extraordinary meeting of VTB Bank shareholders on 27 September 2007 at “Vyborgsky” Palace of Culture located at: 15, Komissara Smirnova Street, St. Petersburg, Russia. The agenda set by the Supervisory Council includes issues related to: VTB Bank reorganization by merger of OJSC VTB Bank North-West into VTB Bank; amendments to be made to VTB Bank Charter as a result of such reorganization, and approval of VTB Bank Business Plan.

Also, Supervisory Council has decided to close VTB Bank Representative Office in Belarus.
