OREANDA-NEWS. On August 08, 2007 Enterprises of Group of companies “Promtractor” - a member of “Concern “Tractor Plants” summarized work results in the first half year 2007, reported the press-centre of KTZ.

According to results of I half year 2007 the enterprises of Concern “Tractor plants” located in Chuvash Republic and the member of Group of Companies “Promtractor” systematic demonstrate the improvement of its activity results. “Promtractor” achieved the significant growth of equipment sales - almost for 1 bln. rubles in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Rate of growth is 141,5%.

The “Promtractor” volume of realization for the first half year 2007 in comparable prices exceeded 3,2 bln. rubles. The demand for produced under ‘Chetra” brand equipment continues to grow. For the last years “Promtractor” annually increased the realization of its products at the average by 30%. The investments of the plant in the first half year increased to 69,3 mln. rubles that is 66,7% higher than the last year level. The modernization of technologies and business processes allowed the “Promtractor” to increase the labour productivity by 47,9% in comparison with January-July of 2006. Net profit of the plant grew by 79% to 358,9 mln. rubles, EBITDA - by 49,5% to 687,9 mln. rubles.

The producer of casting products for railways “Promtractor-Promlit” also increased the production sales volumes: in comparable prices the growth composed 2,0 bln. rubles that is 39,7% higher than the similar figure of the first half year 2006. Net profit of the enterprise for January-July 2007 is 124,1 mln. rubles. Rate of growth – 2449,7%. EBITDA for the first half year 2007 achieved 284,9 mln. rubles. Rate of growth – 326,2%. The labour productivity for the same period increased by 73.4%.

“Promtractor-Vagon” plant where in this year the first batch of open-top wagons has been produced, increased the sales volumes by 31,4% in comparable prices. For January-June 2007 this index composed 1,6 bln. rubles. At the moment at the plant the construction of production complex is in progress, which will allow to produce appr. 6000 wagons per year for the needs of railways. The investment of the enterprise increased by 928,3%. The labor productivity increased by 21,1%. Also grew the indexes of net profit - by 116,2% and EBITDA - by 107,5%.

According to the President of the Concern “Tractor plant” Mikhail Bolotin, the systematic improvement of the first half year indexes by the enterprises of the Group of Companies “Promtractor” once again proves the correctness of the performed strategic steps by the management of the holding, the main object of which is the providing of the main industries of the country by high-quality and power-intensive native engineering products.
