JSC IDGC: Power Losses Are Reduced by 1,35% in the First Half of 2007
OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2007. According to the results of the first six months of 2007 power losses have been reduced by 1,35% or 416 million KWH in the grid companies of the service area of JSC IDGC of the Center, reported the press-centre of JSC IDGC.
The result of the taken measures was a 228,4 million KWH loss reduction, saving 267,4 million rubles. The result of organizational arrangements amounted to 25,9 million KWH (11,34% of all measures on power loss reduction), while technical measures came to 5,8 million KWH (2,54%), and measures focused on the improvement of commercial and technical metering – 196,7 million KWH (86,12%).
The volume of power loss reduction in the power grid complex through special measures shall be 378,3 million KWH, through organizational arrangements – 42,6 million KWH, technical measures – 40 million KWH, and measures focusing on the improvement of commercial and technical metering – 295,7 million KWH.
It is necessary to mention, that the optimization of power losses is considered by JSC IDGC of the Center as a priority guideline for power transmission expenses in 2007. The Company approved “Programming Power Loss Reduction in the Power Grids of DGCs”, which unifies approaches for the development, planning and measures on loss reduction.
