OREANDA-NEWS. August 9, 2007. Atom Innovation is conducting technology foresight studies of the development prospects of power engineering and power machine building till 2025

Atom Innovation Center has started technology foresight studies of the development prospects of the power engineering (thermal, hydro, nuclear and renewable energy) and power machine building industries of Russia till 2025.

The results of the foresight will serve as a basis for long-term development programs in the spheres. The research has been ordered by the Federal Agency for Science and Innovation and the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy (Rosatom), who want to know how their sectors will develop in Russia and worldwide in long-term outlook.

The foresight panel (leading experts in the spheres) will analyze the existing productions chains in power engineering and power machine building, will consider ways of creating new markets, businesses, products, sectors and demands in mid- and long-term prospects and will evaluate the development potentials of the research and development complex and the major companies of the sectors.
