OREANDA-NEWS. The Agrarian Policy Ministry forecasts meat production to increase to 1,9 M tons, or by 10,27 percent in 2007 versus 2006, a statement released by the ministry indicates, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

Meat imports are expected to decrease from 231,000 to 200,000 tons, while exports will grow from 15,000 to 50,000 tons. Annual consumption of meat and meat products will increase from 41,5 to 44,3 kg per capita.
